In just a little bit I will be heading off to the ferry for Norway, having completed my first group assignment earlier today. That went decently well, though I would have liked to have had some more cooperation with preparation from my group members.
The weather is miserable, its raining and cold. And its supposed to be even more rainy in Oslo tomorrow. But here’s hoping that it rains before and after we are out in the city, if it has to rain at all! I’ve lost my poncho someplace, or maybe I forgot to pack it entirely, regardless, its a mistake I’m regretting at this point, as my cheap 2$ travel umbrella, which seemed like a good idea at the time, is lackluster at best.
Denmark Tidbit of the Day: The Dane’s don’t seem too fond of umbrellas, by and large everyone just walks around getting rained on, even the women. Ponchos and rain jackets by contrast are much more popular than in America, but still, the majority go with nothing. Of course I’ve been told that the weather lately has been unseasonably terrible, so perhaps its just a subtle form of defying the heavens.
Parting Photo: This was taking on my sailing trip, it is a bird and his mighty fortress. Taken off the coast of Federickssund.

Oh silly, you forgot your poncho at home. I remember finding it after we got back from the airport. :/ Is it hard to find umbrellas to buy there?

Not especially, however, they are literally like 75$ for the “basic” umbrellas. I can’t find cheaply made ones thus far. I’ve rigged my little one to work well enough to use, but the first big gust of wind will snap it in half.
