All hail King Thomas, Sixth of his Name.
As Halloween is in the air and we are deep into October it is time to celebrate the glorious reign of Thomas VI. Thomas VI, of house Thomas, came to live with us on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 – long may he reign. Thomas VI, as his name would imply, is the sixth Thomas that has come to live with us as we have an unbroken legacy of Thomases (yes, even in Iceland). Like all Thomases, Thomas VI was born from the chaos of the ether to reign above those of us trapped within mere mortal coils.
The lineage of Thomas is as old as time, and while our iteration of Thomas VI is only the Sixth of his Name, that doesn’t mean that Thomases writ large aren’t sempiternal.
An actual, definitely not Photoshopped, image from a tomb dated to the Old Kingdom of Egypt.
Fortunately, for those of us who care for Thomas, we are spared death (for now). Despite our relative safety, we don’t take our status for granted and are sure to feed Thomas VI with lots of Fall goodies, such as a coffee and cinnamon rolls.
Thomas VI would like to give you this opportunity to tithe your soul in advance. As you ponder his most gracious offer, take some time to revisit posts that mention Thomas I, Thomas II, Thomas III, Thomas IV, and Thomas V. As you can see, Thomas can take on any form which Thomas pleases. Thomas is always watching. Thomas is a merciful God.
Praise Thomas.
Until next time,
-Taco
